Bates College is a private liberal arts college in Lewiston, Maine, in the United States.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 publisher = US News and World Report )〕 The college was founded in 1855 by abolitionists. The college enrolls approximately 1,800 students, 300 of whom study abroad each semester.
